About the Role

Blake Morgan LLP is seeking a dedicated and ambitious paralegal to join our Business Support and Insolvency Team in the Thames Valley region. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our Partner and associates to support clients in all aspects of insolvency, including personal and corporate insolvency, transactional, advisory, and contentious insolvency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Support and Insolvency Team in all aspects of insolvency, including administration appointments, security reviews, sales of businesses, winding up petitions, bankruptcy petitions, matrimonial home proceedings, transactions at undervalue, preferences, and directors' loan accounts.
  • Work closely with clients, including insolvency practitioners, litigation funders, banks, lenders, investors, directors, companies, and individuals.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Insolvency Act 1986 and Insolvency Rules 2016.
  • Assist in the preparation of court documents, reports, and other materials.
  • Contribute to the development of the team's expertise and knowledge in insolvency law.
