Blake Morgan LLP is seeking a talented and ambitious paralegal to join our Business Support and Insolvency Team in the Reading office. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our Partner and associates to support clients in all aspects of insolvency, including transactional, advisory, and contentious insolvency.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of company law, property law, commercial litigation, and trust law. Experience in dealing with administration appointments, security reviews, sales of businesses, winding up petitions, bankruptcy petitions, matrimonial home proceedings, transactions at undervalue, preferences, and directors' loan accounts would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Business Support and Insolvency Team in all aspects of insolvency, including transactional, advisory, and contentious insolvency.
- Work closely with our Partner and associates to provide high-quality support to clients.
- Develop a good understanding of company law, property law, commercial litigation, and trust law.
- Assist in the preparation of documents, reports, and other materials as required.
- Contribute to the development of the team and the firm.
