About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance tasks across our extensive portfolio of properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out first-time fix repairs where possible for our customers
  • Perform construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, resolving problems or setting in motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer

Requirements

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical, or plumbing)
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
  • Skills in some of the following disciplines – Carpentry, Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering, Fencing, and Groundworks
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines, and plan ahead
  • Full valid UK driving licence
