CNC Turner Operative

At Polytec Personnel Ltd, we are seeking a skilled CNC Turner Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and running a variety of CNC machines, ensuring they are scheduled and loaded to meet demand. They will also assist CNC Programmers to prove out and produce first-off production components, ensuring the quality of components produced meets requirements. Additionally, they will be responsible for weekly machine maintenance and 5S tasks. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Fanuc based vertical milling machines, machine loading and operation experience, and knowledge of multi-pallet, high mix, low volume machining. An apprenticeship trained or similar experience is considered an asset. Minimum 3 years' experience in a Machine Shop environment is required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Load and run a variety of CNC machines

* Assist CNC Programmers to prove out and produce first-off production components

* Ensure quality of components produced meets requirements

* Weekly machine maintenance and 5S tasks

Requirements:

* Working knowledge of Fanuc based vertical milling machines

* Machine loading and operation experience

* Knowledge of multi-pallet, high mix, low volume machining

* Apprenticeship trained or similar experience considered

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a Machine Shop environment
