Job Title: Residential Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Assistant to join our team at Lancashire County Council. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to older adults in our care homes and day centres.

About the Role

This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive difference in the lives of older people. As a Residential Care Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced care team to provide person-centred care, support, and companionship to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to older adults in our care homes and day centres
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Support service users with their personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Engage in activities and hobbies with service users to promote social interaction and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication
