We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at a modern nursing home in Bournemouth, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents while leading and supporting the care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and oversee the provision of outstanding care, ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of residents.
  • Responsible for clinical assessment of residents, ensuring appropriate care is planned, implemented, and evaluated, involving residents and users.
  • Lead and support the care team, fostering positive relationships and promoting teamwork.
  • Maintain and adhere to CQC standards in all aspects of your role, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manage and update electronic care planning systems to ensure accurate and effective care records.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide mentoring and support to team members, contributing to the continuous improvement of care standards.
  • Take a proactive approach to your role, ensuring care delivery is well-organized and aligned with individual care plans.

About You:

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

  • An active UK NMC pin and up-to-date nursing qualifications.
  • Previous experience with elderly/dementia residents is an advantage.
  • A strong understanding of CQC standards and a commitment to adhering to them in daily practice.
  • Experience with PCS and electronic care planning systems.
  • A well-organised and compassionate approach, with a passion for delivering high standards of care and attention to detail.
