Job Title: Site Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Project Manager to join our team. As a Site Project Manager, you will be responsible for the on-site implementation of groundwater control schemes for projects you are responsible for. This will include a split of approximately 3 days on-site and 2 days in the office, with responsibility for effective client communication, commercial management, technical success, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Working as a Site Project Manager delivering contractual obligations as directed by the contracts manager.
  2. Supervising site activities and closely liaising with the client's site staff, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  3. Maintaining good quality documentary records of contractual activities including the collection, collation, and presentation of monitoring data.
  4. Performing project management and dissemination responsibilities, including drafting of regular progress reports as required & participating in both internal and external project meetings.
  5. Appointing and briefing the site teams, including specialist subcontractors.
  6. Defining the project programme and ensuring contractual targets are met.
  7. Undertaking business development activities for new projects, including site visits to collect information and discuss our client's requirements, pursuing tenders, assisting in the preparation of tenders & quotations.
  8. Taking responsibility for your own health and safety and preparing Risk Assessments for site activities.
  9. Directly line managing site and monitoring staff.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must be an experienced Project Manager, with good knowledge of dewatering systems or groundwater control schemes. We will also consider candidates from construction and/or civil backgrounds, preferably with knowledge of dewatering.
