About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Cardo Group. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services to our clients, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standards and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent service to clients, ensuring that all works are safe, effective, and efficient
  • Act as the company's representative to clients and residents, providing effective communication and building strong relationships
  • Supervise and manage onsite retrofit projects, working closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Oversee the installation of energy-efficient measures and ensure that buildings meet sustainability standards
  • Work with Building Control regulations and requirements, as well as statutory and mandatory regulations/legislation and best practice
  • Generate, review, and achieve programme performance, being organised and proficient in the use of various ICT systems, regulations, and legislation
  • Develop effective working relationships with residents, direct labour operatives, sub-contractors, clients, building control, and the local fire authority
  • Carry out/support customer liaison officers with resident consultation/engagement and support the project team in pre-consultation and update meetings
  • Convey accurate information to residents and from residents to the project team, taking ownership and dealing with customer/resident complaints through to completion and sharing lessons learnt with the project team and senior management team
  • Control project execution plans and delivery structured updates to the client, managing, reviewing, and monitoring risk, program, plant, quality, and cost
  • Promote and follow good Project governance through the policies and procedures laid out by the Cardo Group
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years previous site management experience
  • Sound knowledge of the social housing sector, including planned works programmes and maintenance projects
  • Sound knowledge of the Construction industry
  • Experience of working in multiple refurbishment project settings/projects
  • Sound knowledge of section 20 leaseholder consultation and housing legislation
  • Experience of delivering successful outcomes to complaints
  • A valid SMSTS qualification
  • A CSCS card in site management
  • An NVQ level 6 in site management/construction
  • A recognised building/trade qualification
  • Asbestos Awareness Certification
  • A current valid driving license
  • Recognised qualifications and/or work experience regarding Fire Assessment surveying and remedial works
