Site Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Project Manager to join our team at a global water management organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site implementation of groundwater control schemes for projects, including effective client communication, commercial management, technical success, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Working as a Site Project Manager to deliver contractual obligations as directed by the contracts manager.
- Supervising site activities and closely liaising with the client's site staff, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintaining good quality documentary record of contractual activities, including the collection, collation, and presentation of monitoring data.
- Performing project management and dissemination responsibilities, including drafting of regular progress reports as required and participating in both internal and external project meetings.
- Appointing and briefing the site teams, including specialist subcontractors.
- Defining the project programme and ensuring contractual targets are met.
- Undertaking business development activities for new projects, including site visits to collect information and discuss client requirements, pursuing tenders, and assisting in the preparation of tenders and quotations.
- Taking responsibility for your own health and safety and preparing Risk Assessments for site activities.
- Directly line managing site and monitoring staff.
To be considered for this position, you must be an experienced Project Manager with good knowledge of dewatering systems or groundwater control schemes. We will also consider candidates from construction and/or civil backgrounds, preferably with knowledge of dewatering.
The role is a combination of site and office-based within the UK, with occasions where you will need to work outside the UK at one of the overseas branches either in an advisory capacity or to give or receive training or provide support.
In addition to the above, the company offers an extensive training and development program upon completion of the probationary period, which includes undertaking training courses suitable for the progression of your career, including PRINCE2 foundation and practitioner or similar.
