Cleaning Operative

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the site
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment and machinery
- Empty bins, dust and sanitise surfaces, and perform other cleaning tasks as required
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve site maintenance goals
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations and report any hazards or incidents
About You
We are looking for someone with previous cleaning experience, although this is not essential. You will need to be naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills, and able to work on your own initiative. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
