About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist/Health Psychologist/Psychotherapist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological support to individuals with diabetes and other long-term conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for individuals with diabetes and other long-term conditions.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based psychological treatments to support individuals in managing their conditions.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals with complex health needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Health Psychology or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Registered Health Psychologist.
  • Experience of working with individuals with diabetes and other long-term conditions.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based psychological interventions, including CBT and other relevant models.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
