We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our CAMHS South team. As a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide clinical supervision to junior staff members and contribute to the development of the team's clinical practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to clinical practice.
- Participate in research and service evaluation activities to improve the quality of care provided to children and young people.
- Postgraduate doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or equivalent.
- At least two years of post-registration experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment.
- Full registration with the Health Professions Council under the Clinical or Counselling modality.
- Related academic qualifications to masters or doctorate level.
- Experience of independent administration and interpretation of cognitive assessments.
- Training in supervision of clinical/counselling psychologists.
