We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in helping children and young people achieve their goals and lead happy, healthy, and fulfilled lives.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing comprehensive assessments, intervention/review reports, and discharge plans for children and young people referred to the PALMS Team.
- Formulating and implementing plans for the formal intervention and/or management of children and young people presenting difficulties, including challenging behaviors, toileting, feeding, sleeping concerns, problematic sexualized behavior, and/or mental health difficulties.
- Providing expert psychological advice and guidance to colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with children, young people, and their families.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of service plans.
- Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology.
- Experience working with children and young people with complex mental health needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
