We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our team at Mosaic Insurance. As a key member of our global Risk & Compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation applicable in the general insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities- Risk Management: Assist in the development and implementation of the risk framework, including risk register, risk appetites, risk policies, and standards.
- Responsible for the maintenance and regular review of the risk register, including monitoring the overall risk profile, including accumulations, trends, and emerging risks, escalating high-priority issues.
- Assist in developing and distributing tools, techniques, methodologies, analysis, reporting, communication, and training.
- Assist in the annual and ad-hoc ORSA process and draft reports.
- Assist the Head of Risk and Compliance in undertaking quarterly reviews of the risk profile.
- Work closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance and Asta Compliance across all aspects of the framework for all Mosaic entities.
- Point of contact for internal day-to-day compliance queries in relation to TOBAs, sanctions screening, and conduct queries.
- Lead in monitoring and maintaining compliance with Lloyd's principles.
- Assist the Head of Risk & Compliance with implementing compliance policies.
- Compliance team conduct champion.
- Support the Head of Risk & Compliance in ensuring the firm's activities comply at all times with both its internal procedures, FCA, and other jurisdictional/legislative requirements.
- Support the Head of Risk & Compliance in providing training sessions to the business on core compliance topics.
- Responsible in assisting the business on sanctions-related queries.
- Support the compliance team by ensuring adequate records are kept throughout the organisation to demonstrate compliance with various regulatory bodies.
- Support Mosaic's leadership team in the operation of regional service companies, including filings, applications, regulatory, and operational aspects, in addition to risk and compliance.
- Good understanding of the regulatory handbooks, rules, and guidance applicable to the insurance sector with particular experience working within a Lloyd's Insurer, MGA/MGU, or broker.
- Good knowledge of Lloyd's and other regulatory requirements and Lloyd's principles.
- Experience in risk management and compliance roles and a knowledge of functions and activities of an insurance company.
- Good level of IT literacy, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
