Senior Data Governance Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our team at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. As a key member of our Data Governance team, you will be responsible for leading and managing organization-wide data governance activities, improving data quality, and managing key information assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with technology and architecture teams to manage changes to the data catalogue and DQ hub estate.
  • Design and implement metrics to measure data governance and quality, providing actionable insights to drive proactive mindsets.
  • Train and educate data stewards and owners on data governance and quality management practices.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings across business areas to onboard, improve, and raise the data governance profile.
  • Manage the DQ roadmap and evangelize the DQ Hub as a service.
  • Analyze and profile current data, identifying and tracking data quality issues, and identifying possible areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data governance management from a business and technical perspective.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and data management principles.
  • Experience with SQL, dashboarding, and/or technical background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
