Our client, a leading social housing contractor, is seeking a Tenant Liaison Officer to join their team in the Wolverhampton area.

The successful candidate will facilitate the smooth running of projects by building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, sub-contractors, client representatives, and the team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the implementation of all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Develop effective working relationships with client representatives, including the housing department, to reduce duplication and ensure consistency of information and approach.
  • Assess and address the needs of high-risk/vulnerable residents, ensuring that Site Managers tailor their work accordingly.
  • Conduct property condition surveys and appliance surveys with residents before works start.
  • Consult with resident representatives and groups, arranging meetings to communicate the programme, gather feedback, and discuss locally significant issues with the Senior Resident Liaison Officer and Community Investment Team.
  • Arrange appointments for surveys and works, ensuring that residents are informed of all dates.
  • Manage complaints in line with the company's complaints procedure.
  • Distribute high-quality, easy-to-understand communication materials as requested.
  • Participate in Project Management meetings as required.
  • Develop and implement community initiatives and awareness campaigns, working alongside the Senior RLO and Community Investment Team.
  • Provide aftercare packs and instruct residents on new installations.
  • Ensure compliance with site Health & Safety rules, reporting any risks or near misses to the Site Manager.
  • Arrange satisfaction surveys for residents, collating responses and working with the Senior RLO to use feedback to improve the service.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of resident liaison experience within the construction/social housing sector.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within guidelines.
  • Competency in MS Office (Word & Excel).
