Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated nurse to join our Surgical Inpatients team at the Harborne Hospital as a Sister/Charge Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Surgical Inpatients team and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
  • Manage staff and resources to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council
  • Experience working in a surgical inpatient setting
  • Experience in the provision of staff education within General surgery patients
  • Management experience/leading a team
  • ILS provider course completed and qualification in required upon hire, or within 3 month of hire
