Lead Outstanding Patient Care in a Dynamic Surgical Ward

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Surgical Inpatients team at the Harborne Hospital. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading by example.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse with exceptional leadership abilities to join our 12-bedded multi-speciality surgical ward. You'll work closely with our experienced teams to provide outstanding patient care, utilizing a strong evidence base and managing complex patient groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the provision of high-quality patient care in a dynamic surgical ward environment
  • Develop and implement innovative nursing practices in line with HCA mission and vision, national guidelines, and standards
  • Collaborate with the manager and matron to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Provide staff education and training to enhance patient care
  • Manage and lead a team of nurses to achieve outstanding patient care
