Permanence and Transitions Team – Social Worker

£44 per hour, up to £150 per week expenses are available.

About the Role:

This role involves managing adolescent risk and supervising, supporting, and mentoring young people moving into independent living.

We welcome candidates committed to improving the lives of children and young people.

An understanding of contextual safeguarding is desirable.

A good knowledge of legislation and regulations surrounding children in care and care-experienced young people is necessary.

Job Description:
  • Full-time (37 hours per week) experienced social worker.
  • The service works with children in care and care-experienced young people up to age 25.
  • You will build long-term relationships with children and young people and help them reach their full potential.
  • Occasional court work may be required.

We plan for the future so they can leave care with the skills needed in adulthood.
