Industrial Maintenance Specialist

Ours is a high-tech environment where we're looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our Engineering team. As an Electrical and Mechanical Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring the adequate maintenance support required to cover our factory.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus bonus and shift premium, totaling up to £55,000. You'll also enjoy 25 days holiday per year, a pension scheme, PPE, on-site parking, and on-going career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain site plant and equipment to required business and legal standards, improving machine efficiency and preventing unplanned downtime. Support the development of efficiency improvements in line with the objectives of the factory. Continuously develop and support the Planned Preventative Maintenance System, implementing and recommending improvements that will reduce further downtime. Complete checklists allocated on a selective basis to ensure adherence to plan. Liaise with production equipment suppliers and engineering sub-contractors to organize repairs and breakdowns that cannot be accomplished on site.
Requirements
Previous electrical/mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing background is essential. Possession of an 18th edition wiring regulations certificate and ONC qualification in an appropriate discipline are also necessary. Experience of working at heights using access equipment and load cell tension control is highly desirable. We prefer candidates with HNC qualifications and those who possess Health & Safety and Compex (DSEAR) qualifications.
