**Role Overview**
We are looking for an experienced House of Commons Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing, and motivating a team of Education and Engagement Assistants and Officers within the Education Centre.
**Key Responsibilities**
- To oversee the smooth daily operations of the Education Centre, including managing changes to operations, responding to emerging challenges, and stakeholder engagement.
- To line manage eight members of the Education Centre team, supporting recruitment of new staff as needed.
- To work with colleagues across the house, including Visitor Experience, Security, Sargant at Arms office, Yeoman Usher and gallery team.
**Requirements**
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team to meet high standards of business operation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders, including staff, colleagues, and external partners.
**Salary and Benefits**
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including:
