The House of Commons Catering Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the catering facilities, ensuring a welcoming and functional environment for all visitors.

Working closely with the Customer Experience and Service Delivery team, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and supervising staff. You will also contribute to developing menus, ordering supplies, and controlling budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics, including scheduling deliveries, setting up events, and arranging equipment maintenance;
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and conducting regular audits;
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality services;
  • Contribute to developing menus, considering dietary requirements, preferences, and seasonal ingredients;
  • Control budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying areas for cost savings.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £32,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including 30 days' annual leave (increasing to 35 days after first full leave year), access to training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and more.
