Job Title: Support Worker (Supported Housing)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,965.41 per annum (£27,112.48 per annum is achieved after 18 months successful performance in the role)

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday plus 1 in 4 weekends (when working a weekend you will not work Friday & Monday) plus some bank holidays

Location: Riverside Group

About the Role:

This role is for St. Saviour's Dispersed based at Vaughan House in Guildford. Our supported housing project for single homeless people aged 18-65 in Surrey is comprised of 18 shared properties housing for 68 people. Customers have complex support needs around substance misuse, mental health, and offending behaviour. We work with customers to help them to gain independence, achieve success in employment, education or training, and rebuild family and social connections. We provide a complete supported housing service, including personal care, emotional support, and practical assistance. Our goal is to empower our customers to live independently and make a positive contribution to their community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance to customers to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive support network

• Work collaboratively with other teams and services to ensure a seamless and effective support service

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer progress and support plans

• Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
