About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to customers, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their goals
- Work collaboratively with customers, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify customer needs and develop personalized support plans
- Assist customers with daily tasks, such as budgeting, meal planning, and household management
- Support customers in accessing education, employment, and training opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations to provide additional support services
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
- Experience working with vulnerable adults or children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills and ability to use digital platforms
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, such as the Care Act and Mental Health Act
