We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Housing Support Worker (Female) in Surrey. This is a 12-month contract, working 35 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £16.50 to £19.97 LTD / £14.07 to £17.02 PAYE (inc hol).
About the Role
As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing flexible housing-related support to enable service users to develop essential life skills and transition into independent accommodation. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and allocating housing for new tenants following procedures.
- Providing tenants with advice and information to help them maintain their tenancy.
- Conducting room checks and following housekeeping procedures to minimize vacancies.
- Ensuring tenancies are upheld and supporting residents in meeting their obligations.
- Conducting risk assessments and coordinating with external agencies when needed.
- Encouraging resident participation and providing advice on decision-making.
- Performing health and safety checks and managing building facilities.
