Job Title: Research Associate - Urban Green Spaces and Health Inequalities

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team at the University of Liverpool. The successful candidate will work closely with the GroundsWell Consortium to explore the role of urban green and blue spaces in tackling health inequalities.

About the Role:

The Research Associate will be responsible for designing, analysing and disseminating a programme of co-produced research as part of GroundsWell. This will involve reviewing the literature, working with large quantitative secondary datasets, and developing household metrics on access to green spaces. The successful candidate will also be involved in publishing and disseminating research outputs to relevant members of the GroundsWell consortium and the wider scientific community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyse a programme of co-produced research as part of GroundsWell
  • Review the literature and work with large quantitative secondary datasets
  • Develop household metrics on access to green spaces
  • Publish and disseminate research outputs to relevant members of the GroundsWell consortium and the wider scientific community
Requirements:

We seek a highly motivated team player with a degree or equivalent qualification (or relevant professional experience) in Geography, Public Health, Epidemiology, or an associated quantitative Social Science area. The successful candidate will have a strong aptitude for data science methods and the ability to work effectively in a team.
