**Job Title:** SEN Support Tutor
We are seeking a dedicated and patient SEN Support Tutor to join our team at 1st Staff Limited. As a SEN Support Tutor, you will provide tuition sessions to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or SEMH, adapting to individual needs and building rapport.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEN/SEMH, be able to cater to individual needs, possess good behaviour management skills, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with lead tutors, safeguarding leads, and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
**Key Responsibilities:*
- Deliver tuition sessions to students with SEN/SEMH
- Adapt lesson plans to individual needs
- Build rapport with students and manage behaviour
**Requirements:**
- Experience working with SEN/SEMH students
- Ability to cater to individual needs
- Good behaviour management skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to identify existing and potential barriers
**Working Conditions:** The role is based in various locations, including schools, local communities, and students' homes. You will work approximately 10-15 hours per week (2-3 hours/day, 5 days/week), with opportunities to increase your hours with multiple students. We offer a competitive salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per year, depending on experience.
