About the Opportunity
Targeted Provision Ltd invites applications from qualified Maths and English Tutors to join our team. In this role, you will provide one-to-one tuition to students with various learning needs, promoting their academic progress and social-emotional development.
Job Description
This position involves delivering Maths, English, or Science tuition to students referred by local authorities and schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. We value creativity, flexibility, and holistic approaches to education.
Key Responsibilities
Your tasks and responsibilities will include planning sessions, providing engaging and tailored support, completing lesson reports, and offering feedback on student progress. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our tutor community, sharing best practices and resources.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for professionals with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, and expertise in working with students with SEN, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs. You should also possess knowledge of safeguarding processes, an Enhanced DBS check, and two professional references.
