Financial Systems Analyst

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Analyst to join our team in Portsmouth, Hampshire. As a key member of our Business Services Group, you will play a crucial role in improving financial processes and ensuring robust controls are in place throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Controls Review: Conduct a thorough review of existing financial controls and segregation of duties across all internal financial systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to internal controls, implementing effective change where required.
- Collaboration with Finance Function: Work with the wider finance function to understand specific processes within each individual unit and recommend and support required changes to internal controls.
- Risk Evaluation: Proactively evaluate systems risks and engage process owners to ensure root causes are identified and addressed.
- System Controls Expertise: Applicants should have knowledge of system controls identification and evaluation, as well as experience in performing system and risk controls testing.
- Hybrid Working: The role will be offered on a hybrid working basis, with the successful applicant expected to be in the office 1 day a week.
