Site Manager Opportunity

A leading contractor, Coleman James, has an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to lead remediation, reclamation, enabling works, earthworks, and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day management of site activities, including supervising and monitoring site operations and conducting briefings as necessary.
  • Preparation of CPP, RAMS, Quality, and Environmental Plan in advance of work commencement and ensuring compliance by the site team.
  • Working closely with the project team, including subcontractors, engineers, QS, and others, to coordinate and manage all activities on site.
  • Implementing company SHEQ requirements on site in line with policies and procedures.
  • Keeping site records and registers up to date in line with internal quality assurance procedures.
  • Management, optimization, and updating of the project programme.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and other third parties, projecting a professional image at all times.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' site management experience in contaminated land remediation, including former town gas works remediation.
  • Excellent project management expertise, including planning and risk management.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • CSCS Black or Gold card.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Good commercial and contractual knowledge and awareness.
