Community-Based Skills Trainer

We are seeking a skilled Day Support Specialist to join our Autism Program team in Wakefield, MA.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities and a passion for promoting personal choice, community inclusion, dignity, and respect. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this position.
Responsibilities- Teach communication, social, and daily living skills to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Support individuals in a 2:1 or 1:1 ratio setting, providing personalized attention and care
- Develop and implement activities that promote personal choice, community inclusion, dignity, and respect
- Participate in interventions and provide positive support to employees and managers
- $48,000 per year salary, competitive pay rates based on years of service
- Five weeks of vacation, three weeks of sick time, and fourteen holidays
- Employee referral bonus up to $700
