Responsibilities

As a Community Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Working one-on-one with supported individuals on community opportunities, life skills, self-care skills, and safety skills.
  2. Helping individuals reach their goals and work toward independence and positively impact their quality of life.
  3. Providing community and/or in-home direct services to individuals with various developmental disabilities between ages 5 to older adulthood.
  4. Working under supervision of individual's family and receiving support of Communitas Family Support Coordinator.
  5. Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation required.
