Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Night Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a Night Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team during night shifts, ensuring that food standards are maintained and recipes are followed accurately. You will also be expected to direct and coach junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the kitchen team during night shifts, ensuring that food standards are maintained and recipes are followed accurately.
- Direct and coach junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring that dishes are presented attractively and are of the highest quality.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Night Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on presentation and quality.
- Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor during busy periods.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
