About the Role
At Place2Be, we believe that every child deserves access to mental health support whenever they need it. Our team of highly skilled counsellors work in schools to provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to open up about their feelings and concerns.
As a level 4 qualified therapist, you will work one-to-one with young people, providing clinical assessments and interventions. You will also engage with the wider school community to promote understanding of child mental health and the importance of early intervention.
We are looking for a creative and ambitious individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people. If you have a strong commitment to safeguarding and a desire to work in a dynamic and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one therapy sessions with young people
- Engage with the wider school community to promote understanding of child mental health
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people
