About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Acute Medicine Consultant to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Division of Medicine, you will provide clinical leadership and direction for the multi-professional team in the management of acute medical patients on our Acute Medical Unit, Same Day Emergency Care Unit, and Medical Take.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead ward rounds and direct the management of patients
  • Perform practical procedures and teach junior medical and other staff
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and participate in governance activity
  • Liaise with other professionals within and outside the Trust as required
What We Offer
  • Recruitment and retention premium up to £20,000, including an initial welcome bonus
  • Relocation allowance and support up to £8,000
  • Negotiable job plans up to a maximum of 12 PAs
  • Ability to pursue specialist interests, e.g., research, teaching, leadership, split job plans, and cross-specialty working
