About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Sciences Professional to join our team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing laboratory operations, including maintaining equipment and conducting experiments. You will also provide highly specialist technical advice and ensure safety regulations are followed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials deposition and processing technologies, as well as experience with vacuum technology. A degree-level qualification or equivalent level of practical experience is essential. Weekend/out-of-hours work may be required for emergency repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain laboratory operations, ensuring full potential is achieved
  • Engage with users to identify future needs
  • Develop specialized processes and depositions, conduct experiments and analyze results

Salary Estimate: £32,300 - £38,000 per annum based on 36.5 hours per week.
