Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH needs in a secondary school setting.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work with students across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering the national curriculum and providing support for those with challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEMH needs in a secondary school setting
  • Deliver the national curriculum to students across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Provide individualized support for students with challenging behaviours
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting
  • Good communication and behaviour management skills
  • Calm, patient, and caring persona
