About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Pavements and Road Maintenance Advisor to join our team at the NZ Transport Agency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality assurance standards for pavement maintenance and operations
  • Drive quality standards in pavement construction
  • Work closely with the Maintenance and Operations Group to monitor the quality of construction activities in the field
  • Evaluate critical phases of construction to ensure compliance with industry standards

About You

You will be a passionate advocate for best practice pavement construction, with a strong understanding of maintenance and operations.

You will have significant field experience in delivering pavement and surfacing works, as well as a competent and demonstrated understanding of ISO systems and the ability to audit against these standards.

Requirements

  • Significant field experience in delivering pavement and surfacing works
  • Competent and demonstrated understanding in the application of ISO systems and the ability to audit against these standards
  • Civil Engineering Qualification – Diploma or equivalent
