The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join our team at Creagh Concrete. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction planning and experience working on multimillion-pound contracts.

As a Construction Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed critical path analysis for Contracts programmes, managing on-site programme updates, and advising the project team on critical changes to priorities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a strong working knowledge of critical path analysis and experience using software such as Microsoft Office & Projects, Primavera, and ASTA Power Project.

The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed critical path analysis for Contracts programmes
  • Manage on-site programme updates, including programme controls, projects costs, and risk analysis
  • Advise the project team on critical changes to priorities and required adjustments to maintain targets
  • Assist the QS in preparing claim information in the event of delays and variations
  • Assist the estimating team in preparing programmes within tender documents and resource allocation

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in construction planning on JCT and NEC contracts
  • Strong working knowledge of critical path analysis
  • Experience using software such as Microsoft Office & Projects, Primavera, and ASTA Power Project
  • Excellent written and verbal reporting skills, highly organised, and demonstrates a positive business acumen
