We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Customer Care Assistant to join our team at Pertemps. As a key member of our support team, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing prompt, courteous, and effective assistance via phone, email, and in some cases, face-to-face.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring relevant line managers and team members are kept informed
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to assist customers effectively
  • Liaise with the sales team and engineers to assist customers with on-site issues, maintenance, and new installation requirements
  • Accurately input customer orders via our CRM system
  • Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and modifications
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, feedback, and complaints via a CRM system
  • Conduct follow-up communications to ensure customer issues are resolved and satisfaction is achieved
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve customer service skills and knowledge
Qualifications
  • GCSEs or equivalent; A-levels or equivalent qualifications are a plus but not essential
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential
Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software
