Business Development Representative for UK SMEs

As a Business Development Representative at Square, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in the UK Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) market.

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who is passionate about helping businesses succeed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK SME market and be able to communicate the value proposition of Square's products and services to potential customers.

The role will involve identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful onboarding experiences for our customers.

We believe that a successful Business Development Representative will have a keen understanding of their pipeline and be able to drive sales activities to achieve and exceed targets. They will also have strong customer intuition and be able to take a consultative approach to every conversation.

In this role, you will be supported by our Product and Marketing teams to ensure that Square's offerings meet the unique needs of the UK market. You will also work closely with your team to replicate successes across the team and identify opportunities for improvement that drive impact.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a track record of exceeding sales targets, a structured thought process, and the ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers. You will also need to be able to gather support from internal experts and external partners to position Square against our competitors.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous vacation time.
