SME Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Development Manager to join our dynamic Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) division, focused on expanding our pioneering payment products and technology stack into the market. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an exceptional commission package in exchange for their dedication, along with abundant new business opportunities throughout 2022 and beyond.
This role offers a unique chance for ambitious sales professionals to transition into a cutting-edge FinTech company. As a Commercial Development Manager, you will have the autonomy to structure your day and manage your pipeline as you see fit, with the support of our comprehensive product suite, expert knowledge, and ongoing training.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing your own territory on a daily basis.
- Conducting high-value prospecting through LinkedIn, data sources, cold calling, and door-to-door visits.
- Sitting a combination of face-to-face and virtual meetings weekly.
- Following a two-step process to create and book sales opportunities daily.
- TARGETING SME businesses with annual card turnover ranging from £300k to £10m.
- Retiaining these accounts through exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Able to upsell EPOS and Zash to targeted merchants.
- Focused on achieving 30% penetration of accounts, ensuring they utilize two products from DNA Payments.
- Efficiently managing a CRM and pipeline of quotations to attain expected conversions.
- Processing self-generated sales daily (averaging 12 per month).
- Targeting clients with monthly revenue per MID GMV of £150, aiming to meet monthly revenue targets.
- Successfully guiding customers through the application process and hand-holding them until live and transacting.
- Collaborating with internal teams to process, deliver, and set up products, guaranteeing an outstanding customer experience at every stage.
