About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the GLL team with their research requirements and enhancing our understanding of the small business environment in London.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and sharing our knowledge and market intelligence about London's SMEs and micro businesses, ensuring that we adhere to our mission of helping small and micro businesses thrive in the capital.

You will use a wide range of free and paid-for market data, primary research, and new data and analytical techniques to enhance our audience/consumer understanding and ensure it is used effectively to achieve our corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the voice of the small business in London and ensure that their needs are factored into business strategy, marketing, and activity around London & Partners trade programmes.
  • Provide high-quality research briefings and insights to support business decisions, using primary and secondary research techniques, intelligence monitoring, analysis, and data sources.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to scope out research briefs, define output requirements, conduct research, and present findings in high-quality outputs.
  • Manage and deliver up-to-date messaging documents and strategic insight.
  • Promote knowledge management and easy dissemination of insights across the company, including contributing to the Insight knowledge portal and developing Power BI dashboards.
Your Background

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in delivering business insights/market analysis across a range of sectors, using secondary and primary research techniques, intelligence monitoring, analysis, and data sources.

You should also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as effective stakeholder management skills for individuals within London & Partners and externally.

You should also be resourceful and adaptable, able to prioritize multiple tasks and project manage effectively in a fast-moving, client-driven environment.

What We Offer

As a Strategic Business Intelligence Specialist at London & Partners, you will benefit from a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including 30 days' holiday, pension scheme, and flexible working arrangements.
