**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team at Intertek. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the preparation, testing, and reporting of submitted samples, following established procedures and protocols.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyses to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory processes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory activities, including test results, equipment maintenance, and quality control procedures.
  • Participate in internal audits and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as chemistry, biology, or physics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a quality assurance or analytical role.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, instruments, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
