About the Role

As a Care Services Manager in our Extra Care Housing team, you will play a vital role in supporting older individuals with care and support needs to live independently. Our Extra Care housing provides a valuable resource for the local community, offering a range of services to meet the diverse needs of residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated location, ensuring that services are delivered to a high standard and that the location and accommodation remain safe and compliant. This will involve working closely with external agencies and partners, such as local authority commissioners, on-site care providers, social workers, and medical professionals, to provide support to residents with a range of needs.

You will also be responsible for maintaining resident and stakeholder trust and confidence in Anchor through effective communication, setting clear expectations, and delivering outputs. This includes ensuring that residents have an up-to-date and relevant support plan that identifies their individual needs and connecting them with health and social services to help them continue to live independently.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality care services and a commitment to improving the lives of our residents. If you have a strong track record of working with vulnerable client groups and possess excellent problem-solving skills, we would like to hear from you.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage properties and enable residents to live independent lives
  • Lett properties, manage rent accounts, deal with anti-social behaviour, fulfill Safeguarding responsibilities, and ensure repairs are carried out
  • Listen and respond to residents and partners, proactively addressing issues before they become complaints
  • Take ownership of complaints and follow the complaints process, keeping all parties informed
  • Lead on relationship management across the location, working collaboratively to find solutions and satisfactory resolutions
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely completion of tasks and delivery of outputs
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve shared objectives and improve service quality
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, stakeholders, and external partners, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and development

What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of up to £26,707 per annum, depending on experience. You will also benefit from:

  • A supportive and inclusive work environment
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme and life assurance
  • The chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents
