Are you an experienced financial professional looking for a challenging role as an Accounts Payable Manager? SF Recruitment is delighted to be working with our Client in Nottingham for a dynamic Accounts Payable Manager position.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the Accounts Payable team and deliver process improvements within the accounts payable department. This involves supporting the Finance Operations Manager with performance development reviews, leading on department process improvements by working closely with the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer, and regular reporting and monitoring of key performance indicators for the Financial Controller.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage purchase ledger and ensure accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Audit and approve inputted purchase invoices across multiple companies and currencies.
  • Audit and approve payment runs in multiple currencies.
  • Monitor electronic approval system and resolve queries in a timely manner.

In order to succeed in this role, you will have had previous purchase ledger and management experience, as well as management experience in a high-volume environment. You will also be confident in helping with training and dealing with any escalations.
