We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Frailty and Front Door specialty. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in emergency and acute care settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide and develop a high standard of occupational therapy services in the Frailty and Front Door specialty.
- Manage a caseload of patients independently, balancing clinical and non-clinical duties in a flexible and responsive manner.
- Provide standard and non-standard occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and advice using evidence-based, patient-centered principles.
- Work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to promote independence and facilitate safe, timely, and appropriate discharge.
- Contribute to clinical audit and service development, working with senior team members, professional leads, and Head of Therapies.
- Manage, supervise, and develop staff members within the team and wider therapies services.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience of working in an acute NHS setting.
- Experience of working with older adults.
- Experience of MDT working.
- Experience working in emergency care/ambulatory areas.
