Practice Nurse

The Practice Nurse is a key member of the Primary Care Team, responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to registered patients. This role requires effective collaboration with colleagues to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
Main Duties- Assessing, implementing, developing, and evaluating programs of care for patients with chronic diseases, minor acute illnesses, and contraception.
- Providing clinical risk assessments and formulating management plans.
- Supervising and teaching other staff members.
- Administering immunizations and vaccinations.
- Assisting in developing local guidance and protocols.
- Conducting clinical assessments, including history taking, and providing care for patients with a range of illnesses and conditions.
