About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Modern Slavery Safehouse Advocate to join our team at Black Country Women's Aid. As a key member of our Modern Slavery Support Service, you will provide high-quality frontline support to victims of modern slavery and human trafficking, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their recovery and reflection period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and needs assessments to identify individualized support plans for clients
  • Develop and implement tailored journey plans to support clients in their recovery and reflection period
  • Provide accommodation support, including health and safety, maintenance, and fire safety
  • Collaborate with key agencies to assess risk and provide referrals to partner agencies as necessary
  • Ensure clients receive a safe space to live, financial and practical assistance, and referrals to partner agencies as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a female with a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults, children, and young people. You will also need to have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undergo a DBS check.
