We are seeking a highly skilled Modern Slavery Safehouse Advocate to join our team at Black Country Women's Aid. As a key member of our team, you will provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of modern slavery and human trafficking, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide risk assessments, needs assessments, and journey planning to support clients through their recovery and reflection period.
- Manage all aspects of accommodation, including health and safety, maintenance support, and fire safety.
- Work closely with clients to develop tailored support plans and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with adults who have experienced trauma and abuse.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
